Event description

Description

This year's topic: Seeng through God's eyes

At times, we can be so busy in our churches, implementing activities and events, keeping things going that we can forget to look up, pause and see things through God’s eyes.

Sharing our God led experiences in a missional sense should inspire and encourage us. We should be challenged to view the culture and community that we are part of through Gods eyes, how might that change your church mission activities? What might you be led to stop and engaged to start something new?

Together, we will enjoy two days of fellowship, discussion, learning and sharing based on John’s Gospel. The conference will start with dinner on Friday 8th and end with light refreshmentds on the afternoon of Saturday 9th.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Key Speaker: Rev Canon Dave Male,
Church of England National Advisor for Pioneer Development

Since 2015 Dave has been developing a national strategy for pioneers and pioneering for the Church of England so that the church may connect with its communities. The strategy involves developing more effective ways to identify, train, deploy and support pioneers, both lay and ordained.

His experience and knowledge in helping a wide range of people from key pioneer leaders, clergy, diocesan staff and pioneer practitioners to come together to engage and then implement missional strategies is an important story to hear and we are delighted that he is speaking at the 2018 Rural Ministries conference.
