Event description

The Rural Working Group of the Church of Scotland has been created to resource and support the 43% of Church of Scotland Parishes that are rural.

After the highly successful Rural Resourcing Roadshows in 2017 the working group will be hitting the road again, distributing their suite of resources aimed at supporting the rural church.

These resources were requested by our members in rural parishes and we use the roadshows to gather guidance on what the pressing needs are and how we can help.

The free roadshows are for those interested in, or involved in, rural ministry – ministers and non ministers.

Roadshows will be held at the following venues:

Wednesday 22 August - Kirkwall

Tuesday 28 August - Braemar

Thursday 6 September - Skelmorlie

Thursday 13 September - Luce Valley

Saturday 15 September - Longniddry

Saturday 22 September - Carinish, Isle of North Uist
