About this event

Community • Other

Based on a peaceful farm setting just north of Hallow, Bonterre CIC is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes wellbeing through nature, animals, and hands-on activities. Their programmes support both young people and adults, helping them learn new skills, explore different interests, and build confidence.

The Rural Skills and Social Group is open to anyone aged 18+ and meets every Monday from 3 PM to 5 PM.

Our sessions are aimed at supporting anyone that would benefit from spending time in a relaxed group setting, especially those that may be finding it difficult to get out and socialise regularly.

There will be a range of activities on offer, including crafts such as pottery and weaving, horticulture, working with animals and spending time outside in nature. Each session will include at least one fully accessible activity, ensuring that everyone - regardless of age or ability - can take part. Of course, there’s also time to relax with a cup of tea and a friendly chat!
