A pop-up Christmas craft outdoor workshop

Spend an afternoon idly chatting or not chatting and making a Christmas wreath, enjoying a fire in a small woodland.

What will I be doing?

You will have the option to make a wreath and various other hanging Christmas crafts using mostly natural materials. There may be some tool use such as using a saw, secateurs and a drill, but any tool use will be optional. We will have a fire and warming drinks will be available.

Who is it for?

If you enjoy making rustic crafts, being outdoors and are looking for something a little bit different and lovely to do with friends, a family member or just for yourself then it's for you. I have put this on with adults in mind, however older children are welcome to come.

What will I leave with?

One, two or perhaps three handmade Christmas items, whatever you want to make in the time that allows. Hopefully you will also leave with a warm glow that isn't only from the mulled wine or cider.

What will be provided?

All resources and tools
A fire
Drinks (mulled wine, mulled cider, hot chocolate, tea and coffee) and some nibbles
There are toilets on site

Things to note and bring:

You will be outside, warm clothing & footwear will need to be worn
If you don't want to sit on a log or on the ground, please bring a fold up chair
If it is torrential rain, then the event will be cancelled and refunds issued
There is parking very close by but not in the school grounds
Access is through the playground but the woodland ground is rough, toilets are in a bungalow away from the wooded area
