Ruth Swailes - Getting it Right from the Start
Overview
Exploring and developing best practice for children in the EYFS
We understand that due to finding and funding, cover in schools and
settings you may not be able to send a delegate to all of Ruth’s sessions.
We also understand that you may want to allow for more than one member
of staff to have access to these CPD opportunities. Please discuss with your
team and decide what would suit your team’s needs best and sign up for
the sessions that would be most appropriate.
Detail of training opportunities with Ruth over the year:
The following sessions are designed to support EYFS leads and experienced
teachers and room leaders of young children in schools/settings to work
with their team with confidence and skill, whilst developing a suitable
curriculum to meet the needs of our youngest learners.
All sessions are research informed and will consider the developmental
stages of the EYFS, allowing delegates to think and reflect to ensure that
they provide the teaching and learning opportunities and experiences
children require to make the very best start to their education. All sessions are open to all teachers and practitioners working in the Early Years Sector.
9-12 for EYFS leads, Room leads, Headteachers, Deputy Headteachers or
another member from SLT.
