About the Demo Day:
Building on the success of last year's event, Rutland Cycling is proud to announce the 2016 Mountain Bike Demo Day on Sunday 6th November at Wakerley Woods. The event is ALMOST COMPLETELY FREE as we will be refunding £10 of the ticket cost. We're charging a small admin fee (84p), purely to cover the cost of issuing tickets in advance via Eventbrite. This will speed up the registration process on the day, so you can get straight out on the trails. Please note that your £10 refund will be processed by our customer service team within 1-2 days after the demo day.
This will be the first chance to ride the full 2017 demo fleets from the world's best bike brands. Trek, Specialized, Giant, Cube, Cannondale, Whyte, Scott, Santa Cruz, Bianchi and Sealskinz will all be here and you'll be able to meet and talk to the experts at the forefront of the new wave of MTB tech. So if you want to be the first to test ride the latest 2017 bikes, experience the next generation of E-bikes and see what's the fuss with 'plus', then make sure you've got this event in your diary.
We will be announcing some more exciting competitions and giveaways shortly, so stay tuned to our social media and newsletters.
- We have 50 FREE Stans Tubeless kits to giveaway on the day. Winners will be drawn at random!
What you need to Bring
Please be aware that a helmet is essential to test any of the bikes - a pair of pedals is also a good idea, but not essential. We do not charge to demo a bike but a refundable deposit of £10 is required upon booking. There is a small admin cost associated with this booking this year, but hopefully, this will speed up the registration on the day.
All registration will be completed online this year, simply print your ticket (that will be emailed to you) and bring it along to the event. We will then use this registration document to check against our list of attendees and supply you with a token, which can then be used to demo bikes. So there will be no lengthy payment and sign up queue this year! Once you have finished trying out the bikes, return to the registration desk with your token, proof of registration and a credit/debit card and we will refund £10 of your ticket cost (note that this refund will be processed by our customer service team within 1-2 days).
