The RYA Day Skipper Theory course provides a comprehensive introduction to chartwork, navigation, tides , meteorology and the basics of seamanship. By the end of the course you should have the theoretical knowledge to skipper a small yacht in familiar waters by day. This course is great to complement one of our Yacht Cruising Adventures. This courses uses a mixture of exercises and exams to ascertain competency. The course is available either as 5 days or over 3 weekends.
