About this event
- Event lasts 10 hours
Join me on a day trip to Rye, known as the most beautiful town in the South of Britain, with its historic centre, medieval castles and churches and the most instagramed street in Britain, Mermaid Street.
We will start and finish in the old town after we walked all the way to one of Southern England prettiest sandy beaches. Along a river with plenty of seals to watch, some lush countryside with lakes and sheep and all this, on flat ground so you won't be tiring yourself too much, it is Sunday after all! As always in the summer, I will give you the opportunity to take a dip in the sea if weather allows so bring your swim suit. Yaay!
after that, we will go through the town, wander in its beautiful cobalt streets and hike along the river all the way to Camber Sands, a long stretch of sandy beach and one of Britain's favourites, where we will have lunch before we head back to the town to visit the rest of this historic jewel.
Afterwards, as always, we will hit the town and go to a restaurant, unless you wish to jump on the train back. There are some great fish and chips places around...
