Establishing A Wardrobe That Reflects A Sustainable Ethos And Ethical Values. - A Physical Workshop - Hosted In a beautiful Norfolk Space.

About this event

It's time to take it to a new level.

I strongly believe we have a responsbility to shop with consideration, at any time. But even more so at this time. We need to seriously S L O W . D O W N our reactivity, the sense of immediacy as we look at our learned shopping behaviours and confidently make changes.

I've done the work, I've read, listened, studied and want to translate these learnings to deliver them to you in the best way I know how, from a Stylists perspective. I'm a stylist, I've always pushed back against the 'must haves' I work to enable women to deeply consider their wardrobes, what they want and what they need from their clothes. How to maximise what they have, how to learn from what they need to let go of in a responsible way.

The S L O W . D O W N Workshop is taking these values to the next level, to enable you to make significant changes with your Wardrobe, changes that will allow you to know what you need to do in order to achieve a wardrobe that reflects a strong sustainable ethos.

A physical experience within a beautiful setting and an intimate number of attendees, where there will be the opportunity to feel fabrics, to discuss and ask any questions. Of course. The full address will be shared at your time of booking your space, for you to consider your travel, the postcode is NR16 1TG.

If you want to make more sustainable decisions with your wardrobe, feel more informed but you feel overwhelmed by the scale of it, what that means, the terminology, feel pressured or just not sure where to begin. I have written this workshop for you.

What we will cover :

I M P A C T - Discussing the Agendas and the Key Issues that relate to fashion and the considerations to the social, cultural and economic impact. G R E E N W A S H I N G - With an understanding of the key issues, I'll talk you through the use of buzz words, Brands and marketing dropping terms and schemes and how to see those for what they truly are. We'll talk about learned shopping behaviours, society's expectations and how to identify those repeated habits. Reactivity. To allow you to make informed wardrobe choices.

F A B R I C S - Understanding fabric compositions, how impactful they are on the planet. How you can identify the behaviour of the fabric, what to look for to get what you need. How that feels. What will work for you. Why. How to care for them, to give your clothes more longieviety.

P R E - L O V E D / V I N T A G E - With your returned questionnaire responses, I want you to also show me a look you're inspired by, that you love. And then I'll show you how to recreate that with solely Pre Loved suggestions. Similar concept to the 'SAME.BUT DIFFERENT.' stories I share I'll lead you through how to identify the impactful details. We'll discuss some general points with the group, but your looks you're inspired by, with pre loved suggestions will be curated individually for you.

C H A N G E S - Practical steps for you to adopt, to make significant changes.

An opportunity to ask me any questions.
