Do you currently volunteer with Active Schools or are looking to start? Maybe you want to go back to your old Primary School, or lead clubs in your own school?
You're invited to come along to Hazlehead and Grammars Secondary Pupil Leadership Course, where you will be taught the 3 modules, and deliver a festival to Primary age pupils, which will put you half way to achieving our Bronze Leadership Level!
After completing the course, pupils need to do 25 hours of volunteering (3 hours of leading/coaching) and Bronze is achieved. We can backdate these hours if you currently volunteer too! No need to stop there, we have Silver and Gold levels for them to achieve on your volunteer pathway.
The Important Questions
- When? Monday 22nd September, 9.15am - 4pm
- Where? Hazlehead Primary School - In the gym hall
- Who? Any Pupils in S2 or Older attending either Hazlehead or Grammar Academy
- What do I need? Please come in sports kit/comfortable clothing and trainers for taking part. Please take a water bottle and snacks/lunch with you.
You will have a catch up with your coodinator upon completing the course - with support to complete the Bronze requirements, and work up the levels if you wish
