S4 and RW CPD-micro:bits
The Wellcome Trust (www.wellcome.ac.uk) has sent out Crunch Kits to every science teacher in the UK. The Crunch Kit is a resource of free, hands-on science experiments ranging across most STEM subjects.
Swansea University Science for Schools Scheme (S4) and the Reaching Wider Partnership would like to invite science teachers a FREE Continuing Professional Development (CPD) one hour event held at the University. The workshop will provide an introduction to the BBC micro:bit, giving examples of how the micro:bit can be used to teach computer science and electronics.
There is absolutely no charge and parking is available on campus. The workshop is held by Ben Hannabuss, an ICT teacher at EOTAS Pathways. Light refreshments are also available.
