About this event
In the chaos of everyday life, how often do we truly pause to take time for ourselves? To simply sit still, breathe, and reconnect with our true selves — and the Divine?
A sound bath offers the perfect way to relax, release, and tune inward. This immersive experience combines the transformative sounds of Himalayan Bowls, Gongs, and Chimes, creating a deeply restorative environment to balance your energy and guide you gently towards healing.
What is Sound Therapy? Sound therapy is a holistic approach that uses vibrational frequencies to support the body and mind. Through different instruments, the body is invited into a state of deep rest. The sounds stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to reduce stress, regulate the heartbeat, and restore balance to the brain and body.
By slowing brain waves and soothing the nervous system, sound therapy can support emotional release, enhance mental clarity, and promote a profound sense of wellbeing. It provides a powerful tool for transformation and spiritual awakening.
Some benefits of Sound Therapy include:
- Reducing stress hormone levels (Cortisol, Beta-endorphin, and ACTH).
- Slowing heart rate and normalising the breath.
- Relaxing muscles and encouraging deep physical release.
- Improving circulation and decreasing blood pressure.
- Supporting reproductive health and hormonal balance.
- Providing a gentle “massage” for internal organs, improving digestion.
- Encouraging emotional release and mental clarity.
Energy Healing in Sound Baths: Alongside the healing sounds, there will be gentle energy healing infused throughout the session. This supports the release of emotional blockages, encourages inner peace, and helps restore balance within your body and spirit. Many people feel held, lighter, and more grounded after a session.
Energy healing is subtle yet powerful — offered through prayer, intention, and deep presence to support whatever you may be needing at this time.
What to expect at Lesnes Abbey Lodge:You will be warmly welcomed into the beautiful, peaceful space of Lesnes Abbey Lodge and invited to find a comfortable position to lie down and relax. Once everyone has settled, I’ll explain how the session will unfold and answer any initial questions.
We’ll begin with simple breathwork to help you transition into a meditative state, followed by a guided sound bath using Himalayan Bowls, Gong, and Chimes. As the vibrations wash over you, energy healing will intuitively flow to where it’s needed most.
To close, gentle breathwork will guide you back into the present moment. A homemade tea blend will be served to help ground you and ease your return to a balanced state. We’ll finish with an open discussion to reflect on the experience and answer any questions you may have.
Yoga mats will be provided. If you need a chair, please email me in advance.
