About this event
Join us for a sacred weekly art healing circle—where remembrance becomes creation, and creation becomes prayer.
The Mindful Art of Remembrance is a two-hour meditative art session blending Islamic geometry, sacred patterns, spiritual reflection, and creative flow—all rooted in dhikr, tafakkur, tadabbur, and muraqabah.
These sessions are inspired by the beauty of Qur’anic ayat, the Divine Names of Allah — but taught through original, intuitive grids and gentle creative guidance from the heart of the artist.
Each week alternates between a Divine Name and an Ayah, offering you space to reflect, contemplate, and surrender into sacred stillness.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be good at art to join? Not at all. These sessions are about connection, not perfection. You don’t need any artistic background—just an open heart and a willingness to explore. The process is gentle and guided step by step.
While the sessions are rooted in Islamic spirituality, especially through the Names of Allah and Qur’anic verses, the space is welcoming to all spiritual seekers. If you’re open to reflection, presence, and sacred art, you are warmly invited.
Just a few basic supplies: • A compass, ruler, pencil • Paper (any size works) • Colored pencils or watercolors (whatever you have) • Eraser + a quiet space No fancy tools required!
You don’t need to! I guide you slowly through building the sacred grid, forming the patterns, and flowing with color. The beauty is in the process, not the outcome. Each piece becomes a personal visual prayer.
We alternate each week between: • The Divine Names of Allah — exploring His attributes through art • Qur’anic Ayat — contemplating verses through sacred geometry Each session brings a fresh, original grid, new reflections, and a unique inner experience.
Once you register, you’ll receive a Zoom link (or platform details). Simply click to join at 11am on Friday, and bring your materials. Sessions last until 1pm and include reflection, guided art, and meditative time.
Yes — all replays are shared with Patreon members, so you can practice in your own time and return to the exercises whenever you need them.
It’s not a traditional class—it’s a spiritual art practice. While deeply inspired by Islamic teachings and sacred art, it’s designed to offer a personal, heart-centered connection to Allah through contemplation, creativity, and presence.
