We would love you to join us for our Fundraising Gala Dinner and Auction at the fabulous Shottle Hall.
You will be helping us in continuing to support children and young people at risk of and affected by sexual exploitation across Derbyshire.
We are excited to have some Ecclesbourne School Food Technology students, chosen by the department, involved in the preparation of the event. The selected students will have the opportunity to work alongside Shottle Hall's fantastic chefs to help prepare the dinner. The school have been involved with similar events previously and due to the resounding success of these, Safe and Sound are pleased to be involving the students in our event this year.
The Ecclesbourne Food Technology team said "this is a fantastic chance for some talented would-be young chefs to get some real-life experience in the catering industry and at such a prestigious local venue. We're very proud to be supporting Safe and Sound."
The evening is a great opportunity to find out more about the work we do and how you can get more involved, as well as a great chance to try some fantastic food at a stunning venue.
Please feel free to invite your friends, family, colleagues, clients and suppliers - even if you're unable to make it.
The evening begins at 6pm and includes:
Glass of bubbly on arrival
Three course gourmet 'school dinner' themed menu followed by coffee
Launch of our new Safe and Sound film
Auction run by Graham Penny's and guest auctioneer Deano Jackson from HUUB, with some money-can't-buy prizes
Raffle and photo booth with vintage style props
DJ and dancing until late
Spot prizes to be won on the night
Other surprises along the way
Carriages at midnight
In addition to the bubbly reception, there will be a bar available.
Our host for the evening is Safe and Sound Trustee Adam Buss, Director of QUAD.
Prizes on the evening include:
Signed Anthony Joshua boxing gloves, spa experience at The Owl House, DCFC Captain Richard Keogh’s signed football boots, Boots No7 hamper, afternoon tea at Harrods, custom made Eterna shirt from Brigdens, couple or family photoshoot with Charlotte Jopling, kids party at Oxygen Freejumping, a night at the Glee comedy club in Nottingham, VIP hospitality at Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, tour of EPM Technology, signed wetsuit by the Gold, Silver and Bronze Men's Individual Triathlon winners at Rio 2016, an Apple iWatch donated by Century Mobile and lots more!!
Please note: We have a photographer at the event and we may use the resulting photos in publicity materials, publications and on our website. We'll assume you and the rest of your party are happy to be photographed unless you let us know to the contrary.
Dress code: This year we're relaxing the dress code so you don't need to dust off the black tie (unless of course you want to!). We've decided to go with 'lounge suits and party wear' instead.
The venue: Shottle Hall is a unique venue, with a beautiful countryside setting close to Belper, offering some of the best views in Derbyshire. The estate boasts four magnificent acres of landscaped gardens and 14 acres of parkland. Though Shottle Hall has played host to footballers, Olympians and even royalty, the family run venue asks that all guests treat it as their 'home from home'.
We look forward to seeing you there!
We have decided to pass on the minimal Eventbrite booking fee to guests - we hope you understand. We are unable to accept refunds.
