Join our Safe Handling of Medication Awareness Training 💊👩⚕️👨⚕️ designed to build confidence and competence in medication management.
✅ By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:
- 📜 Apply key legislation & policies (Medicines Act 1968, Misuse of Drugs Regs 2001, GDPR 2018)
- 💉 Safely administer medications via oral, topical & systemic routes
- 📦 Implement secure processes for ordering, receiving, transferring & recording medication
- 🚨 Identify, prevent & report medication errors using MAR charts & error simulations
- 🤝 Work effectively within teams, respecting roles & communication boundaries
- 🧑🤝🧑 Deliver person-centred care – obtain informed consent, tailor medication support & promote recovery
This course is ideal for care staff, support workers, and professionals who handle or administer medication in their roles 🏥✨.

Cancellation policy: In the event of you no longer being able to attend the workshop, we require 7 days notice in order to issue a refund. We can transfer your ticket to an alternative date if spaces are available and given at least 24 hours notice. If you are unwell on the day we can refund your ticket once you have rebooked onto an alternative session.
