We’re excited to be hosting our first SAFE Spaces event - our new approach to Swansea City of Sanctuary networking events. These gatherings build on our previous networking events, with a focus on creating a safe, welcoming environment where we can meet, share, and act together as a City of Sanctuary.
SAFE stands for Swansea Asylum Forum and Exchange – for public and positive conversation about how we can all help make Swansea a true city of welcome.
Join us on Saturday 18th October 2025, 15:00–17:00 at the Ocean Room, National Waterfront Museum for an afternoon of connection and collaboration:
- Meet new and familiar faces in a welcoming, inclusive space
- Explore ways to improve how people seeking asylum are heard and included
- Bring your hopes and ideas for the future of Swansea
- Ask ourselves: What does Swansea stand for - and how do we show it?
Refreshments will be provided & bus tickets reimbursed.
This event is part of a new series of quarterly networking events hosted as Swansea City of Sanctuary – and we’d love others to help shape what these gatherings can become. If your organisation or group would like to get involved in planning or co-hosting future SAFE Spaces, we’d love to hear from you!
Booking through Eventbrite isn’t required, but it helps us plan for numbers.
You can also RSVP by emailing swansea@cityofsanctuary.org.
