How long is the workshop

The Safeguarding 1 workshop last for three hours

How long is my certificate valid for

As a rule, the Safeguarding 1 certificate is usually valid for three years from the date of the workshop. This may vary as the duration is left up to your National Governing Body of Sport, so you should check with them.

How many people can attend the Safeguarding 1 workshop

The online workshop in limited to 16 and the in person 18.

I'm under 18 of age, can I attend

This is an adult orientated workshop, however, 17 year olds can attend provided a parent or guardian complete and return an underage permission form ( available on request from Donegal Sports Partnership) prior to the workshop

Can I book a workshop for my club

Yes, we can deliver Safeguarding 1 to clubs or sporting organisations either online (16 attendees) or in person at a venue of their choosing (18 attendees). Please contact us for further details.
