Please note there is a maximum of 2 places per organisation

The workshop provides you with the skills and knowledge to meet the requirements of your safeguarding policy in relation to adults in need of safeguarding. You will receive an attendance certificate you can use as evidence of continuous professional development.

Who is this course suitable for?

The workshop is suitable for staff and volunteers of voluntary and community sector organisations.

What does the course cover?

This course will help you:

Explain what is meant by vulnerability
Recognise types of abuse and their signs
Create a safe environment for you, your staff and service users

Entry requirements

  • Participants will require a reasonable understanding of English

  • To access this course free of charge you will need to be currently working for a voluntary or community organisation based in Leicester or Leicestershire. Organisations who do not meet these requirements will be asked to pay
