About this event

Family & Education • Parenting

Parents, carers and guardians are invited to join a 60-minute session (Talk followed by Q&A) on gambling harms and the digital risks facing young people today, including gaming, advertising, and online influencers.

Delivered by Ahead of the Game from Ara, the session will provide clear, practical information to help you recognise the signs of gambling related harms understand how to start supportive conversations, and know where to access free help if needed.

There are an estimated 85,000 young people in the UK who are experiencing harm from their own gambling. With young people increasingly exposed to gambling-like features through apps, games, and advertising, this workshop offers an important opportunity for guardians to feel confident, informed, and prepared to support the next generation.
