Safeguarding and Assisted Decision Making Forum

The Safeguarding and Protection Team HSE South West, invite Designated Officers to attend a Learning & Networking Forum on Friday 5th December 2025 at the Talbot Hotel Cork (formerly known as Oriel House Hotel).

The focus of the forum is to strengthen understanding and implementation of the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act. Keynote speakers in Assisted Decision-Making will share approaches and tools to help healthcare professionals uphold the Guiding Principles, ensuring vulnerable clients are supported in a way that protects their best interests and respects their autonomy.

Registration is required to attend and will close at 5pm on Tuesday 2nd December 2025.
