Safeguarding and Synthetic Cannabinoids Training sessions LIVERPOOL

Essential Safeguarding 9.30 - 1.00pm
Including issues relating to Child Sexual Exploitation and the new Prevent Duty (anti-radicalisation), this introductory session will give you all you need to understand your role in safeguarding and child protection. The course meets minimum mandatory requirements for all those working or volunteering with under 18’s. If you need to refresh your Safeguarding knowledge (required every 3 years) then this is the course for you.
Synthetic Cannabinoids 1.30 - 5.00pm
With the continued expansion of Synthetic Cannabinoids use in Britain, are you and your service confident and competent to deal with this rising challenge?
This course draws upon the latest research to explore the rapidly changing drugs trends in the UK, in particular the increased use of synthetic cannabinoids such as clockwork orange, black mamba, Spice and other New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) aka ‘legal highs’
