CAVA has three online safeguarding awareness sessions open for booking.
Our awareness sessions are running on three dates:
- Wednesday, 17th September 2025 (10.00am-12.30pm)
- Tuesday, 14th October 2025 (2.00pm-4.30pm)
- and Friday, 21st November 2025 (10.00am-12.30pm)
These are being delivered virtually and will be 2.5 hours in duration at £15.00 per delegate (£12.00 for CAVA members).
Our training partner JB Training delivers this for us.
The sessions cover:
- What safeguarding is and how this applies to vulnerable adults and children
- Types of abuse
- We also include updates on county lines, prevent, forced marriage and equalities
- Policies and procedures
- Handling disclosures
- Scenarios
- Making a referral
- Referral sources
- Other sources of support.
