Event description

Description

“Safeguarding means protecting people's health, wellbeing and human rights, and enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect." Child Protection, along with the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable adults, has now
shifted to a more “all round process”. As such, it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that it is carried out for those who both use our facilities, and come into contact with those who run them.

Steve Nash, Chief Executive of Swanley Town Council, will explore this subject and give best practice pointers to those who are involved with safeguarding in our tier.

This is an afternoon session beginning at 1pm with registration and light refreshments before our session at 1:30pm

Our price for member councils is £60 plus VAT. if your council does not belong to KALC, our price is £120 plus VAT
