'Safeguarding & Boundaries' Training Day
Overview
This free bespoke training will be an opportunity for local Third Sector organisations to participate in a training session that has been highlighted by several charities and local community groups as being an area for upskilling and learning new skills when working with volunteers.
The in-person training will be delivered by Victoria Galloway, Learning & Development Manager at Befriending Networks, and is funded via tsiMORAY by the UK Government through the Shared Prosperity Fund.
The full day session at The Inkwell in Elgin will focus on ‘Safeguarding & Boundaries’ for local Third Sector organisations, with emphasis on discussion and interactive activities during the day to boost engagement and interaction with shared experiences.
A Training Handbook with key information will be available for attendees post-event to allow reflection of the event and to recap on salient points from the day.
This is an excellent opportunity to network with other organisations to learn about a topic that is both pertinent and important to volunteering.
A buffet-style lunch will be provided.
