This training is aimed at experienced DSLs who have previously completed the full training and aims to update, refresh and build on existing knowledge and skills.

Aims and Objectives:
Training is fully compliant with Working Together to Safeguard Children , Keeping Children Safe in Education 2021 and your Local Safeguarding Children's Partnership Board procedures.
In addition to refreshing and updating existing knowledge and skills the course focuses on key themes and current issues, recent safeguarding learning and the effective ongoing management of a safe system.
The course is interactive and uses a variety of approaches. It is intentionally flexible so as to allow participants to raise issues of particular interest or concern.
