Cymuned Ymarfer Diogelu – COVID-19, diogelu a grwpiau risg

Mae Cymuned Ymarfer Diogelu CGGC yn darparu fforwm ar gyfer pobl sydd â chyfrifoldebau diogelu mewn mudiadau gwirfoddol i ddod ynghyd, rhannu arfer dda, dysgu oddi wrth ei gilydd, a thrafod pynciau amserol i’r sector.

Bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn parhau i archwilio’r hyn rydyn ni wedi’i ddysgu am ddiogelu yn sgil argyfwng COVID-19, yn enwedig mewn perthynas â grwpiau o bobl a allai fod mewn perygl cynyddol o niwed neu gamdriniaeth o ganlyniad i’r pandemig.

Bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn canolbwyntio ar y risgiau sy’n gysylltiedig ag oed a iechyd meddwl. Byddwch yn clywed gan fudiadau megis Meic, Age Cymru ac eraill sy’n cefnogi pobl a allai fod mewn perygl o gamdriniaeth a niwed ynglŷn â’r modd mae COVID-19 wedi effeithio ar eu gwaith a’r gefnogaeth maen nhw’n ei darparu.

Mae’r digwyddiad hwn ar gyfer pobl sydd â chyfrifoldebau diogelu mewn mudiadau’r sector gwirfoddol yn unig, er enghraifft Swyddogion Diogelu neu arweinwyr dynodedig, ymarferwyr diogelu ac ymddiriedolwyr â chyfrifoldeb dros ddiogelu.

Ynglŷn â CGGC:

Fel y corff aelodaeth ar gyfer mudiadau gwirfoddol yng Nghymru, mae CGGC yn chwarae rhan hanfodol wrth ddod â'r sector at ei gilydd a gweithredu fel cyswllt â'r rhai sy'n gwneud penderfyniadau a Llywodraeth Cymru.

Safeguarding Community of Practice – COVID-19, safeguarding and at-risk groups

WCVA’s Safeguarding Community of Practice provides a forum for people who have safeguarding responsibilities in voluntary organisations to come together, share good practice, learn from each other, and discuss topical issues for the sector.

This event will continue to explore what we have learned about safeguarding from the COVID-19 crisis, especially in relation to groups of people who may be experiencing an increased risk of harm or abuse as a result of the pandemic.

This event will focus on risks related to age and mental healrth. You will hear from organisations such as Meic, Age Cymru and others that support people who may be at risk of abuse and harm about how COVID-19 has impacted their work and the support they provide.

This event is exclusively for people who have safeguarding responsibilities in voluntary sector organisations, for example designated Safeguarding Officers or leads, safeguarding practitioners and trustees with responsibility for safeguarding.

As the membership body for voluntary organisations in Wales, WCVA plays a vital role in bringing the sector together and acting as a liaison with decision-makers and Welsh Government.
