Safeguarding Enquiries is a 2-day course aimed at Adult Social Care and Social Care Provider staff in Brent who undertake Safeguarding Enquiries.
The course aims to assist staff in gaining confidence and a better understanding of this complex area, including its relationship to Mental Capacity Act 2005 and the duties under the Care Act 2014.
This will enable staff to be aware of how to implement safeguarding and an opportunity to explore live practice issues, and will cover:
Pan London Enquiry and Care Act Requirements
How to achieve and preserve best evidence
Making Safeguarding personal and how this is implemented
How to minimise risk of abuse for the Service User.
Must have attended Safeguarding Awareness and MCA Awareness and have read the Pan London SGA Policy and procedures.
These courses are very popular we therefore have to limit tickets - two per organisation.
Once booked to attend, if you can no longer attend, please cancel your booking so that your place may be offered to someone on the waiting list. Failure to do so or if you fail to attend, may result in an administration fee of up to £50.00 chargeable to your organisation.
