Meet the Trainer - Jenny Stanley
Jenny has worked in Health and Social Care for over 30 years. She is an experienced senior manager who thrives in leading the day-to-day operations of social care businesses. Jenny has managed a broad range of social care services across the private, voluntary, and independent sectors and has over 15 years of experience in developing and delivering training for a wide variety of services. Jenny’s passion for supporting and advocating for people’s rights and freedoms within the Autism and Learning Disability community is contagious. She takes pride in delivering high-quality training that will have positive impacts on the individuals that her learners support.
Jenny has devised and delivered safeguarding programmes for Councils, ICBs and Care Groups, and is our Lead Safeguarding Trainer.
Who should attend the Safeguarding for Leaders and Managers Course?
This course is suitable for leaders and managers working in adult social care settings. Attendees on the course should already have a working knowledge of safeguarding and should have leadership responsibility in their workplace.
This course is mapped to the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, Making Safeguarding Personal (ADASS) and Care Act Statutory Guidance.

Delivery Method - How will it look like on the day?
The course will run online via Microsoft Teams.

This interactive session will offer a fully immersive learning experience that is enhanced by small group learning. All learners will have the opportunity to engage directly with the trainer, take part in interactive activities and share learning with others in focused discussions. Activities will include interactive whiteboards, polls, case studies, breakout rooms (group discussions and activities) and chat activities.
Cost
The cost of the course is £95 per person. This does not include VAT. Payment needs to be made ahead of the course start. Cancellations and refund requests would need to be submitted at least 14 days ahead of the course start. You can process a cancellation/refund via our booking portal.
