Share Safeguarding Policy Workshop - Wednesday 22nd March 2017

Event Details

This course is open to anybody who wishes to attend regardless of the type of organisation you work for or your geographical location.


This course is suitable for all managers or safeguarding leads whoever has responsibility for updating their organisations safeguarding policy.


This half day session is designed to support you in developing your safeguarding policy or a basis for creating one. The session will cover:

  • Current child protection legislation
  • Main points to include in your Safeguarding/Child Protection Policy
  • Useful appendices and information
  • Policy and procedures specific to your setting
  • Implementation of your policy

The session will conclude with one to one discussions, a policy template if appropriate and a personal action plan.


This course is also available as a bespoke course delivered in organisations where your Safeguarding/Child Protection policy is being developed or reviewed. Contact our training team on 01273 420973 or email training@safety-net.org.uk to find out more.
