Training Overview:

This workshop will give staff tools to support analysis of observations, how to consider capturing that within the safeguarding arena including making referrals and working alongside statutory colleagues whilst also often being the main professional who has a presence within the family. The aim is that leaders can support staff to be more confident within their decision making around risks and impact as well as being able to translate that effectively and meaningfully leading to helpful support for children and young people.

Why It Matters:

At Nudge Education, we are committed to ensuring that every child and young person receives the right support at the right time. This training equips staff with the skills to observe, analyse, and act on safeguarding concerns with confidence and clarity. By understanding how to work alongside statutory colleagues, make appropriate referrals, and interpret risks effectively, staff can make informed decisions that directly improve outcomes for children and families. For leaders, supporting this process ensures that teams feel confident, empowered, and capable of translating observations into meaningful, impactful action. The more skilled we become in these areas, the better we can safeguard, support, and positively influence the lives of the young people in our care.
