Safer Internet Day 2022 - 8th February 2022
We are excited to offer this fantastic opportunity for all professionals that work with children and young people. We are running virtual presentations via Zoom on the 8th of February 2022. The presentations will be run by experts from Northamptonshire Police, North Northamptonshire Council and various safeguarding experts. The presentations will cover :
- Sarah's story a young persons lived experience of child sexual exploitation and grooming delivered by the RISE team
- Peer on peer abuse and online safety delivered by a safeguarding expert
- Building resilience within children and young people, how can we support young people manage online risk delivered by Simon Aston North Northamptonshire Council
- Gangs, county lines and social media delivered by a local safeguarding expert
We hope you can join us especially as all sessions will equip you with the resources and ideas to help safeguard children online.
Important Information
Once you have registered to the event you will then get an email advising you of the Zoom details. All we ask is that if you register you attend , as you could be taking the spot of someone that really wants to come along, also by registering you will have access to a recording of the presentations after the event.
