Saff Juno celebrates the release of her debut EP Escaped the Box with a one-night-only live show at 12 Bar Music & Social, Exeter on Saturday 16th August.
Backed by her 4-piece live band and joined by a special guest support act (TBA), Saff brings her signature mix of euphoric indie rock and raw, emotionally charged songwriting to the stage.
Following recent highlights including a BBC Introducing Track of the Week, a Boardmasters Festival slot, and growing acclaim across the South West scene, this show marks a milestone moment for one of the region’s most exciting new voices.
“My debut EP holds all of the equally euphoric and turbulent emotions I’ve experienced as I’ve ‘Escaped the Box’. From finishing school in lockdown to leaving toxic relationships and experiencing mental health issues, this collection of songs represents all those moments over the years in my process of becoming independent. I hope that anyone who listens to this EP finds a reason to keep coming back to themselves, always.” – Saff Juno
🌙 With special guest support from Third Girl From the Left, described by BBC Introducing’s Sarah Gosling as “like Wolf Alice and Goldfrapp had a baby and Kate Bush is the nanny – love it!”
Blending slightly unhinged art pop and alt-folk/rock with off-the-wall cover versions, this is something truly different. Since 2020, the Devon-based artist has gained fans including legendary producer John Parish, received support from BBC Introducing, LOUD Women, Fresh on the Net, and more, with standout performances at Dot to Dot Festival, Dart Music Festival, and support slots for Lonelady and Scott Matthews.
