Speaker Spotlight: Edward Griffiths
A visionary leader, respected journalist, and best-selling author, Edward Griffiths steered South African rugby through pivotal moments. As former CEO of SARU, he coined the iconic phrase “One Team, One Country” which helped unite South Africa during the historic 1995 Rugby World Cup.
Edward later served as interim CEO of Saracens in the UK, guiding the club through challenging times, and has managed the careers of some of rugby’s greatest names, including John Smit and AB de Villiers. His journey blends leadership, storytelling, and the power of sport to inspire change.
