SAGES – Innovation & Impact Workshops

Co-developing and communicating research effectively to end users

Thursday 27th April 2017, 14.00-17.30, University of Glasgow, Glasgow

Wednesday 3rd May 2017, 14.00-17.30, Abertay University, Dundee

Monday 8th May 2017, 14.00-17.30, ECCI, University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh

Delivering real impact from your research requires effective engagement with both the public sector and with businesses, from start ups to multi-national corporations. ECCI’s Innovation team invites SAGEs members to this first Innovation & Impact workshop that aims to provide academics with clear pathways for co-developing and communicating research effectively to various stakeholders from business (SCENE) to policy (ClimateXChange and Adaptation Scotland). Increasingly, end user engagement is a key requirement for any research led funding (e.g. NERC, Horizon 2020) – these workshops will provide a clear overview of how to achieve that engagement effectively. Following each case study there will be an interactive session to ask questions and share knowledge and ideas.
