Description

Delivering real impact from NERC funded research requires effective engagement with Public Sector, Policy and Government organisations.

In order to help forge valuable connections with these networks ECCI's Innovation team invites SAGES members to this first Innovation Workshop.

This afternoon event is an opportunity to meet other SAGES members and find out about the work of Scotland’s Data Innovation Centre (based at the University of Edinburgh) and the role of ClimateXChange - Scotland's centre for expertise on climate change.

Its core mission is to generate significant economic, social and scientific value from big data. With a Scotland-wide presence and Hubs in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, it is in close proximity to leading industry and university institutions with world-class research in informatics and computer science.
