SAILS The Student Journey: Keeping on Track

SAILS in partnership with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David will be hosting a national conference on student transition on Thursday 18th May 2017 in the Great Hall on the Bay Campus.
Confirmed key note presenters include:
• Dan Shaffer from Supporting Professionalism in Admissions (SPA) discussing the student transition journey including pre-admission and admissions
• Lewis Pearson, University of Wales Trinity Saint David, presenting their Life Design approach to student development
• Wil Vincent from Birmingham City University presenting BCU’s online, interactive pre-arrival programme “Level Up”
• Michael Draper, Director of SAILS, exploring the Swansea University peer mentoring e-toolkit.
Registration will be from 09:15 onwards. There will also be four workshops on offer from 11:15 - 12:15 of which you may only attend one. When you register for the conference you are asked to select the workshop at the same time. Please note that some workshops have limited capacity so tickets will be issued on a first come first served basis. The workshops are:

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Delegates are strongly advised to use public transport to reach the Bay Campus or the Park and Ride facility located at Fabian Way, Swansea, which is a very short distance from the Bay Campus. This facility costs £4.00 per car, per day for the Bay Campus.

You may wish to bring a copy of the ticket so that you know which workshop you have signed up for.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to transfer the booking to a colleague.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
