Saining Straw

Take part in traditional art and folklore activities to celebrate the harvest and the coming of autumn. We'll make corn favours and hang wishes from the cloutie tree, while using iron, water, and straw to 'sain' (bless) the garden and drive out evil influences...

There'll be time afterwards for a cup of hot (alcohol free!) 'mead' as well

If it sounds weird... well it is! But it's also a bit of fun and a chance for us all to come together and celebrate the seasons.
