Bromsgrove’s Biggest Jobs Fair will return for its 5th Anniversary on Friday 26th April.
Last year, Sajid Javid’s Jobs Fair featured more than 2000+ career opportunities being offered by over 70 local, national and international employers.
With 85+ exhibitors already confirmed, this year’s Fair will bring together an even broader range of local businesses looking to make their next hire.
You’ll have the chance to talk one-on-one with potential employers, cutting out the middle-man and making it simpler for you to find what you’re looking for.
Whether you’re looking for a job that’s full-time, part time, a change of career or an apprenticeship, we would be delighted to see you at the Fair.
There really is something for everyone.
In addition to full-time jobs, part-time jobs and apprenticeships on offer:
Google Digital Garage
Google will be hosting their Digital Garage at the Fair for the first time, bringing together experienced coaches to teach you the skills you need to become more confident online, grow your career or business, and maybe even launch the next big idea.
Three courses will be available on the day, including ‘Build Your Personal Brand Online’, ‘Write a Cover Letter’ and ‘Build a CV’. The workshops are free to attend, and will operate on a first-come first-served basis:
1100 – 1200 Build a CV explores what makes a great CV, how to sell your skills and some simple tips on how to make your CV shine.
1200 – 1300 Write a Cover Letter explores how to structure a strong cover letter and identify the key skills needed when applying for a job.
1300 – 1400 Build Your Personal Brand Online will help you identify your brand, increase your online visibility and build your brand online.
Lloyds Interview Clinic
Lloyds Banking Group will be back to host their popular Interview Clinic.
Drop by to learn the techniques you need to stand out in the interview.
The Clinic will be running from 11:00 – 14:00, and will operate on a first-come first-served basis.
Entrepreneurs Hub
Start-up specialists Blue Orchid will be back to host their popular Entrepreneurs Hub.
The Hub will be an opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch ideas for starting their own business, and for existing enterprises to receive expert advice aimed at accelerating their growth.
Specialist advisors will be on hand to help attendees put together a business plan, secure funding and hone their start-up skills.
