Salamat Festival 2019 London

The inaugural Salamat Festival has been organised by a group of organisations and charities based around London to bring people from all backgrounds together in celebration of African cultures .

We have planned a rich and diverse event that presents the cultural heritage and traditions from across Africa to the wider community. The day will include a mix of food, music dance and educational activities, as well as African crafts market, for all the family to enjoy!

Representing Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia and Eritrea,the programme for the day will include :

• Traditional dress Toob fashion show
• Madeeh singing from Sudan
• Kids traditional dancing
• Traditional dancers
• Fashion shows
