Free sales and marketing communications training course
About this event
Course has started - but you can still join for free
If you have missed the first couple of sessions - no problem. The course is based on short and instructional PDFs that are sent to you, followed up by feedback webinars held a week later. Register today and we'll send you the PDFs you've missed together with the current PDF and an invitation to attend the next webinar. The PDFs are yours to keep. Here's what the training covers:
Do you want to:
- Make all your sales and marketing content more effective, both online and offline
- Save time and money doing your social media and other advertising
- Appear higher in Google searches without it costing you a penny
- Make your website more engaging
- Tell your business story more powerfully
- Build longer lasting relationships with you clients and customers
- And do you want to do all of the above ethically
All sales and marketing is about persuasion and people are prepared to be persuaded - honestly. But where does persuasion actually happen? Does it happen on screen, or on the page, or in the human mind? Business leaders, chief marketing officers and behavioural psychologists agree that talking to the human is just as important as talking to the algorithm. Especially if you want to build your brand, boost engagement and create customers who are happy to buy from you and recommend you to others.
How this free course works
The course runs over 6 weeks and covers:
- How to write a sales and marketing brief for your business
- Brand and branding
- Creative communications tactics and techniques
- Copywriting
- Business storytelling
- The psychology of Influence
The training is based on the approach that what we're told we forget but what we do we understand. Each week we will publish a short read PDF for you to download and keep, and each topic is always covered the same way. Firstly, with real life, big brand examples. Secondly, with an explanation of how the principles work. And thirdly, with an exercise, or exercises, designed to show you how to apply the learning to your own business. Then a week later, after you've had a chance to digest the material at your own pace, you can join a free webinar on zoom where you can ask any questions, get feedback on the exercises, and discuss how to apply the learning to your own business. The webinars will happen every Wednesday at 12.00 noon for 6 weeks starting Wednesday 03 March, so please make a regular date in your diary.
