Prince’s Trust Pop up Shop 2018

Young entrepreneurs supported by us will set up shop in Cardiff’s St David’s this month (22nd – 25th March) to showcase their businesses to the public.

The 25 businesses on show at Unit UG37 (next to the Apple Store) in the Cardiff Shopping Centre include clothing boutiques, homeware, crafts, massage therapy, art, amongst many others.

All of the entrepreneurs have taken part in our Enterprise programme, which provides practical, financial and mentoring support to help unemployed young people set up in business. Thanks to our fantastic supporters, we have helped more than 500 young people to become self-employed in Wales in the last 10 years.

Rhian Mathias, Head of Enterprise and Employment at The Prince’s Trust Cymru said,

“This year’s pop-up shop is bigger and better than ever. There is a wide range of fantastic, unique businesses on display and we really encourage people to come down to find out more.”

As well visiting the different businesses and meeting the young entrepreneurs behind them, visitors will have the opportunity to take part in free, inspirational workshops.

Siop Dros Dro Prince’s Trust 2018

Bydd entrepreneuriaid ifanc rydyn ni’n eu cefnogi yn gosod eu stondinau yng Nghanolfan Dewi Sant Caerdydd y mis yma (22 – 25 Mawrth) i arddangos eu busnesau i’r cyhoedd.

Ymhlith yr 20 busnes fydd i’w gweld yn Uned UG37 (drws nesaf i’r Apple Store) yn y Ganolfan Siopa yng Nghaerdydd mae siopau dillad arbenigol, nwyddau tŷ, crefftau, therapi tylino, celf, ymhlith llawer o rai eraill.

Mae’r holl entrepreneuriaid wedi bod yn rhan o’n rhaglen Menter, sy’n darparu cefnogaeth ymarferol, ariannol a mentora i helpu pobl ifanc ddi-waith i sefydlu eu busnes eu hunain. Gyda chymorth ein cefnogwyr gwych, rydyn ni wedi helpu dros 500 o bobl ifanc i fod yn hunangyflogedig yng Nghymru yn ystod y 10 mlynedd diwethaf.

Fel y dywedodd Rhian Mathias, Pennaeth Menter a Chyflogaeth yn The Prince’s Trust Cymru,

“Mae siop dros dro eleni yn fwy ac yn well nag erioed. Mae amrywiaeth eang o fusnesau unigryw, gwych yn cael eu harddangos, ac rydyn ni’n wir yn annog pobl i alw heibio i gael gwybod mwy.”

Yn ogystal ag ymweld â’r gwahanol fusnesau a chwrdd â’r entrepreneuriaid ifanc sydd tu ôl iddyn nhw, bydd ymwelwyr yn cael cyfle i gymryd rhan mewn gweithdai di-dâl a fydd yn eu hysbrydoli.
