Event description

Building on the success of 2017, Salisbury International Coaching Week 2018 starts with our inspirational keynote speaker, Rachel Roberts. Rachel is an award winning international solo artist, Professor of Viola at London Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a social entrepreneur and a coach. Rachel will share her uplifting story of overcoming a difficult start in life to achieve her dreams and how she is passionate about giving others the same opportunity through her charity, Dream Warriors.

Our intention for SalisburyICW is to celebrate coaching within our communities with a programme of free events and for all participants to learn, share and grow. SalisburyICW provides workshops, experiences and talks on a wide range of coaching and related topics. Experiential events are available every day: mindfulness meditations; and short (30 min) 1:1 coaching and NLP 'taster' sessions.

This event is for individuals, leaders and managers, business owners and of course coaches and others from the helping professions such as counselling and psychotherapy.

A pop-up cafe will be serving great coffee, snacks and other refreshments. Hot and cold food can be ordered at the event and will be delivered from a nearby café. Please bring cash for ease of payment.

Salisbury ICW is sponsored by the International Coach Federation (UK). Salisbury Coaching Circle members are very much looking forward to welcoming you to our events this week and we hope you learn, share and grow with us.

Qualified in Horse Assisted Education, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team and Everything DiSC, she has developed her facilitation approach around authenticity and vulnerability, supporting people to understand themselves, understand others and use this knowledge to create better working environments and relationships.

Having ridden from the age of 9, her love of horses and equestrian activities has endured. She even insisted on taking her horse to Sandhurst for a year during Army Officer Training! Whilst in the challenging environment of the military, the time spent with horses provided an opportunity for Lou to be authentic. The horse was not influenced by rank or status, but by her energy, beliefs and behaviours.

Lou integrates the Horse Assisted Education programme into the Waves portfolio of leadership and team development approaches.
