Nigel Brown

Yorkshire born and bred, Nigel has, during his extensive culinary career, catered for royalty and Nelson Mandela. He’s also spent time at the highly acclaimed French cookery school Ecole Le Notre. He’s produced a set of cookery DVDs and hosted a TV Foodie series “Haloodies” that was broadcast to 136 countries across the globe in 2013. In 2007 Nigel opened his cookery academy that’s now said to be one of finest cookery schools in the land and it’s now going nationally across the UK from the autumn of 2025.

Nigel’s first cookbook ‘N.B. How to Cook’ won an award in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, winning the prestigious title ‘Best Cookery School Cookbook in the UK’. His latest cookbook, “NB. How to Cook – Street Food” will be published in December 2025.
