Salt Line Tree Walk

Join the Salt Line Ranger for a walk along the Salt Line Tree Trail. This is a gentle walk along the Salt Line and Borrow Pit Meadows with regular stops to look at and discuss various trees. We will look at different species and talk about their shape and form and how to recognise them, as well as discussing the uses of the timber and myths and folklore connected with the different species.
Suitable for anyone over the age of 10. Booking and payment in advance is essential. Adults £4, children 16 or under go free.
Tickets will be available to purchase 2 months prior to event date: 28/02/2017
Time: 10.30am to 1.00pm
