LIVING ROOM LEARNING

This winter solstice join us for a different type of learning - the type that takes place in the informal environment of a living room.

A fire, mulled wine and root vegetable broth aid our explorations into ancient Women's Ritual Lore and Witchcraft within Judaism.

Well into the 20th century, the Sephardim of Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania had a living spirituality that extends beyond the bounds of many modern understandings of Judaism.

We shall learn a little of our ancestors, women who sought to sweeten the darkness and heal troubled times, and we'll use some of their words and symbols to inspire our own guided visualisations.

Kohenet RuachEl/Rachel Rose Reid is a co-founder of Moishe House London, co-creator of the Hearth/HaMakom at Limmud, co-chair of Grassroots Jews 2016, and the first European woman to be ordained by The Kohenet Hebrew Priestess Institute.

This session includes textual study, guided visualisation and time for 'nosh and natter'.

We are asking that everyone who comes along donates a minimum of £10 which we will collect in cash at the event.

Space is limited so please reserve your spot soon. Once you do we will send details of the venue.
