An international showcase of musicians, artists, dancers, puppeteers and community groups, in India, Kenya, Zambia, Scotland and Jordan!

It is a bit of an experiment with live and online audiences in different countries, and musicians and artists calling in from rehearsal spaces, public venues and living rooms around the world!

Rapala Dance Ensemble (Raden) - Performing arts & theater group specialized in Kenyan traditional songs and dances.

Tareq Jundi - Oud player and composer in Jordan

Arts in Medicine Project - Musicians from Nigeria's Arts in Medicine Project

Hassadah Louis - poet, artist and activist in Zambia.

Tinderbox Collective - songwriters and musicans in Edinburgh, Scotland.

We hope Samata Sessions will be the start of a new collective of local artists and community groups in different countries. We’ll be organising some online gigs and showcases, writing music and making artwork together, and generally looking for ways to collaborate and bring people together through creative projects.
