SAME UK Post - Improving the Concept Design Process

The SAME UK Post is pleased to announce our next lunchtime talk, planned for Friday 14 November at 1300 UK time. In this talk Chris Ackerman, Defence Client Director for Mott MacDonald, will present on the updated Assessment Study & RIBA 2 process Mott MacDonald developed with DIO. Chris will share lessons learned on how to better capture client needs while providing an improved level of cost & schedule certainty at early project stages and will illustrate using case studies. The talk will also consider the relevance to US forces projects in the UK, drawing parallels with Requirements Document and the 15% design stage.

This will be a hybrid event, available in-person hosted at Mott MacDonald’s Cambridge office with lunch, or over Microsoft Teams.

The formal part of the meeting and the Teams call will start at 1300 UK time, for those attending in person, registration and lunch is from 1230.

The venue is Mott MacDonald's Cambridge office, located close to Cambridge station which has good train and bus links and paid parking is also available at the station car park
