On Friday 14th October, The Wallace Restaurant are hosting an exclusive ticketed supper in honour of well-known writer Samuel Beckett. Guests will be treated to a specially designed cocktail the ‘Beckett Sour’ on arrival, which is inspired by Beckett’s love of whiskey, citrus fruit and eggs. Guest will enjoy their cocktail in the beautiful surrounds of The Wallace atrium courtyard before taking their seats to enjoy a delicious two course meal.
The Irish Avant-guard novelist, playwright and director is considered to be one of the most influential writers of the 20th Century and visited The Wallace Collection in 1935. It has been more than 80 years since his first visit but Beckett’s name has been mentioned once more at The Wallace because of the extraordinary parallels between his work and that of contemporary artist, Tom Ellis whose exhibition ‘The Middle’ opens this month at the gallery.
Be part of the conversation and join us on Friday 14th October at 8.30 pm for an evening that you won’t forget.
