Event description

Description

Chelsea Green Publishing and The Store X present award-winning fermentation revivalist Sandor Katz in conversation with Honey & Co's Sarit Packard & Itamar Srulovich. Join us for an evening of all things fermentation, exploring Sandor's journey to fermented foods, discussing the benefits of these foods for our health, and their importance to our everyday culinary experiences. There will be a short fermentation demo, using local and seasonal vegetables, in celebration of Urban Food Fortnight, which showcases London's thriving food culture, and celebrates the capital's growers, producers and makers.

Welcome drinks and fermented snacks will be served. There will be a chance to get signed copies of Sandor's books The Art of Fermentation & Wild Fermentation, as well as Sarit and Itamar's wonderful array of Honey & Co cookbooks.

The event will also be recorded as part of Honey & Co: The Food Talks, to be released later in the year.
