Sands community days are back!

Sands is once again bringing together volunteers and supporters from the Sands community across the UK for a day of learning, networking and opportunities to get involved in the vital work we do.

We hope the event will give you time and space to meet others within the Sands community, rekindle old connections, and make new ones. It will provide an opportunity for everyone to understand more about Sands’ reach and the impact we have when working together. You can learn about the many ways of engaging with our work and take time to consider our vision for the Sands community.

Join staff, volunteers, supporters and trustees from all areas of Sands’ work to explore how we can all work together as one organisation to make the biggest impact in saving babies lives and supporting bereaved families now and in the future.

Whatever your involvement and connection to Sands, whether you are a group volunteer, a Sands United football player, a health professional, a fundraiser, or a supporter, we would love to see you there.

Places are free, but please make sure you book in advance of the event to help us manage numbers and provision of resources for our activities on the day.

What you can expect:

Opportunities to network, meet other Sands supporters, find out about services in your area, share good practise, and discuss new ideas

Opportunities to learn more about our work, how you can get involved, and how your support makes a difference

A chance to meet Sands staff, ask questions and give feedback.

Who is this event for?

All volunteers and supporters of Sands – if you are interested in learning more about, and getting more involved with Sands, we want to see you there!
